Oasis Natural Healthcare [above: Jim and

Oasis Natural Healthcare, a natural health care consulting business that specializes in natural hormone balance for women and men dealing with menopause or andropause, recently opened a Rockwall office within the nutrition center Weight Off for Life. Longtime Rockwall resident Jim Porter, a doctor of pharmacy and a natural consultant pharmacist, is seeing Rockwall-area patients by appointment only.
The first Oasis location has operated for quite a while within Porter's main business, Pharmacy Compounding Specialties in Dallas at 8061 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 924. The second Oasis operates at the Weight Off for Life office at 500 Turtle Cove, Suite 130, which is owned by Porter's wife, Diane, a registered nurse.
The Porters also are trained as applied clinical nutritionists. "In addition to natural hormone balancing, Oasis offers clients natural options for such conditions as stress, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis," Jim Porter said. "There are natural clinical protocols for more than 150 diseases and conditions." Oasis also provides a 21-day purification and weight-management program, as well as lab tests on saliva, blood and hair.
